The fabulously unique ‘Oxford’ owned by The Houses
Daylesford https://www.thehousesdaylesford.com/ provided the perfect location for our retreat in May. Attended by 13 like-minded people from many walks of life the group quickly established an incredible level of trust and intimacy which meant the time together was incredibly valuable and memorable where strong friendships were forged and a pledge to do it all again before the end of the year.
Our speakers were quite simply amazing and provided some unforgettable highlights and on more than one occasion, brought the room to tears (in a good way of course!). Ranging from 3x Olympic gold medalist James Tomkins, Everest explorer and conqueror Paul Hockey to Klaudia Gebert who had the whole room re-evaulating their true purpose through hugely significant moments of self-reflection. Gia Stewart provided invaluable insights on food and nutrition as well as getting us a bit more bendy with an early-morning pilates session on one of the days. Although not one of our formal speakers, Jay Verenis had everyone transfixed with his story whilst serving up some wonderful pasta in his role as OneManOnePan. The live band on the middle night merely added to the atmosphere and great conversations around the roaring fire pit.
